Union Member Dues
Unions are member-supported organizations. Dues are collected and used to support member-established priorities like organizing, training, professional development, educational lobbying, collective bargaining, legal services, and contract enforcement.
Faculty union dues in the United States are typically 1-2% of total salary. The exact amount of our union’s dues is 1% of total salary, based upon our priorities and voted on by a majority of UA-UNM members during Ratification of the Tentative Agreement and Constitution.
